upgrade to 902, update journalarchive table question

Hello all,

I'm in progress to prepare for upgrading EV80SP4 to EV90SP2
In the upgrade guide I read:
Part: Vault store database modifications
The modifications include a single update to all the rows of the JournalArchive table, and the creation of a clustered index.

I assume this affects the SQL transactionlogfiles?
As it updates all rows, will that not generate enormous logfiles (if you have large db that is?) Becuase if it does, I need to verify diskspace on the log-disks, and perhaps have them extended?

what are your experiences with this?
