v7 License

Dear all,

I'm having trouble getting a working v7 licese file having upgraded from v6. I upgraded the license in the portal and downloaded the new slf file, but this only contains the pst migrator option that we've brought. When I try and start the EV console it complains that there is no base feature (EVBase).

I've been on to licensing about this and they say:

Please be advised that the Enterprise Vault Server License version 6 doesn't upgrade to version 7 as this is included in the agents. You practically activate the base product with the PST migrator.

I know the v6 license isn't any use with v7, but how does the migrator/agent active the base product?

Paul,

Sounds like you need to contact customer care about the incomplete license.  Meanwhile, open a call w/ support and tell them you need a temp v7 license to get you going whilst you work out the issues with customer care.
