On Monday, February 11th, 25 students from the AP Computer Science Principles class at Roseville Area High School joined Veritas' Annika Arnholt at the company's local offices for an informative, interactive look into the day-to-day life of a software engineer at Veritas Technologies.
Annika was supported by a team of Veritas engineers, program managers, and scrum masters to provide a comprehensive view of the company's approach to development and the range of roles available to those seeking a career in technology.
The day's activities included opportunities to engage Veritas' agile development model, including participation in a live daily standup and engineering demonstration, as well as an interactive sprint simulation.
Those of us on #TeamVtas take pride in the company's ongoing commitment to supporting local communities. It is efforts like this one – inviting local students to take on a day in the life of a Veritas software engineer – that make #LifeAtVeritas so compelling.
