Doing the rounds on the internet at the moment, and forwarded to me by a friend, is a study from IBM which shows that filers aren’t necessarily as productive as you might think. It has often been discussed that filers are MORE productive than pilers.. but this study disputes that and says that actually the pilers, when using good search techniques, and tools, are more productive than the filers.
