NBU 5.1.1 - 5340HA appliance - /var/log/messages file

Greetings,

I'm trying to find out if this is something I need to get support to look at or if this is anything at all to worry about.

Looking at other things in the /var/log/messages file and I'm seeing a LOT of these in the  log file:
kernel - - - appex: lo is down
kernel - - - appex: lo is del
kernel - - - appex: lo is up

What is this really telling me?

Thanks,
Dennis

Hi @DPeaco

Back in 3.1.x days, it was reported as an issue when WAN optimization was enabled and was a cause for the appliance to spontaneously reboot.

You could start by disabling WAN optimization and see what effect it has, but it may also be worth logging a support case as this was supposed to have been fixed in later appliance releases (maybe the fact you appliance isn't crashing is an indicator of this).

Cheers
David
