getting the following error while trying to run the backup policy:

We are getting this error in Veritas Netbackup.

Netbackup failed with the error code : 73 . when i tried to check the log of the Backup selection file it shows

Your information is extremely sparse, I don't think anyone can assist you.

The error message is pretty crystal clear about what is wrong. You need to confirm your configuration.

Should there be a disk group called oradata_dg_brggmco1-01?

What is it you are trying to do specifically in the backup? Offhost backup of a split-mirror disk group?

If you are trying snapshot/offhost, you would at least need to provide the bpfis logs on the Oracle server (the NBU client).

If you are using offhost, can the NBU media server "see" the disks being presented as part of the snapshot backup?
