Does PureDisk support running multiple jobs on a client at once? I know it can due mutilstream but that is withing a single job.
Also is there a setting to define the number of concurrent jobs that can run on a PD server?
We are running 6.6.0.2.

■ Jobs for client A and client B run in parallel, but PureDisk runs multiple jobs
on one client sequentially.
■ The two jobs for client A run sequentially to keep the client from using too
many resources on the host server. A locking mechanism stops client A from
either retrieving or running a new job before the current job has completed.
The second job that starts on client A stays in the queue until the first job
finishes. Some jobs run in parallel, depending on their type.
Hope that helps !!

Hi
You can run many jobs at the same time against a single client, but only 1 will be active at any time. The others will just queue up. Backup Jobs seem to have priority over Data Cleanup jobs etc aswell. The Multi streaming part means it can break down a single job into multiple streams but still only one job is active at one time.

Appreciate the info. Pretty much what I had thought.
