We use NetBackup 6.0 MP5 for Windows
For one of our servers, we perform a FlashBackup due to the amount of data. I have created 2 policies:
a) Daily - pointing to robot-1
1) Cumulative Schedule
2) Full Schedule (no start time or days)
b) Weekly - pointing to robot-2
1) Full Schedule
The policy for Daily was our original policy. It contained the cumulative and full schedule. Due to resource contention, I created a Weekly policy. All ran fine. The weekly policy did the full and the daily did the cumulative. The full schedule within the Daily policy was deactivated (no start time or days).
This weekend, I deleted the full schedule from the Daily policy (since it was not being used). However, on the 1st run on the Daily Policy, a full was performed using the cumulative schedule.
Since we are a windows shop, I use the archive bit. Did I cause myself heartburn by doing what I did?
