After the latest kernel patch upgrade & OS recommended patches "Solaris 10", the NETBACKUP 6.5 was not working, we got all jobs to Q !!

Few Suggesstions

1.) First of all check that are you able to ping the Master/Media Server ?

2.) See if the Firewall (for example iptables or SELinux got enabled) 

3.) Are you able to connect the Client when you double click on Netbackup Management=>Host Properties=>Clients and then Client Name

Unfortunately we fallback and the Unix Support team did the same patch on all Servers successfully except the Master backup. So we need to do a safe installation, because the fallback takes more than two hours last time.
