Age of data being restored through Opscenter

Based of the restores that happened in the Netbackup environment, is there a way through Opscenter to track what the age of the data being restore is? The restore backup reports can they show retention levels that were set on the data being restored?

I doubt that this info is stored in OpsCenter.

To my knowledge, this info is only used during initial selection criteria and will be logged in bprd and bpdbm logs.

Why is this info important to you?
I have never seen this info requested by anyone in my 17 (almost 18) years with NBU...

I think you can - indirectly.

Each restore job has the backup image name in detailed job text. The backup image name contain a EPOCH time stamp, of when the backup was created.

08/15/2016 10:16:25 - begin Restore
08/15/2016 10:16:25 - restoring from image srv1.acme.com_1471248683
08/15/2016 10:16:25 - requesting resource @aaaaf
08/15/2016 10:16:25 - granted resource

You can the convert the timestamp with either excel or by running bpdbm

# bpdbm -ctime 1471248683
1471248683 = Mon 15 Aug 2016 10:11:23 AM CEST

There is an initiative to identify data that can be tiered off further into more cheaper storage. Trying to identify what percent of restore requests are with date <6 months, <2 yr or > 3 yrs.

Use the image timestamp as per Nicolai's suggestion.

Whether this info is in OpsCenter - I really don't know.

Or simply start capturing the image timestamp as and when restore requests come in over the next month or so.
