Hi,

Could you confirm us if archive files are included when you run a backup or restore ?

if I read backup ( https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/doc/129277259-150015228-0/v129903049-150015228 ) or restore doc ( https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/doc/129277259-150015228-0/v129957708-150015228 ) doesn't mention that archivedir or archivepath will be included in backup content.

Thanks

I don't know so much about PostgreSQL, but I believe that condition about archive is the same logical on database Oracle, that is your database need to be in archive mode in Oracle for we can do backup archive, SQL your database need is in Full mode for backup transaction log, did you got my point?
Netbackup will do archive log if your database is set for do it, the condition is in your database not in Netbackup.

Hi, yes Archived files are included in backups with Veritas NetBackup PostgreSQL backup. The NetBackup for PostgreSQL agent reads the data that needs to be protected and writes it into the WAL (Write-Ahead Log) files. These WAL files are then archived in the specified archive directory. The agent protects the schema files associated with all database tables, files associated with the database tables, and data and index files.
