Does AD users are able to loing to the Mater server Directly..?

if yes, make sure you keep their ID in auth.conf of the Master server located in /usr/openv/java and ask them to try login.

Nagalla is correct - I set up a netbackup group in AD, and added users there.

Then I added them to the /usr/openv/java/auth.conf file.

Please note (for unix anyway) I have found that the login is case sensitive - if you have user.name in the auth.conf, that is how they need to login, if it is User.Name, they need to match as well.

There must be something else required as I just tried that and get

  Status 504 - Incorrect password

never mind, I forgot to include domain\ in auth.conf

  domain\username
