BMR BOOT support for WIndows 2003 x64 version

Hi All,

Does anyone know about the Windows 2003 x64 - BMR Boot Server support. If, Yes how can I install it. I havnt found any installer in Symantec Netbackup media set. whereas for x86 platfrom it will be there in Additional Products list.

Also I would like to know the NBU Media Server support for RHEL 5.0 U2 and BMR Boot Server support.   

It will be really appreciated, if anyone who knows and can reply me asap.

Hi,

RHEL5.0-Un: I guess the BMR Boot Server/Client is not yet supported on RHEL5, but is expected some time soon. (Probably with the 6.5.4 release). You could check with support. About Media Server, I've used NBU Media Server on RHEL5.0 & U1. Are you facing any issues with U2? For Media Server, you could verify by posting the query on the NBU forum as well.

Win2K3-x64:Again, AFAIK, BMR Boot Server on Win2K3-x64 is not yet supported, and the support is expected in 6.5.4.

I'd suggest that you check this with your Symantec Support/Sales person in case you want concrete/official information.
