Hi,

Can Netbackup Server 5.1 (HP-UX) also be a BMR Server ? Is this supported ?

Yes, it is supported.

Hi Chia,

Thanks for your reply. However, the compatility list only mentioned that HP-UX can be the BMR Client as well as client. I question is can I also install BMR server on the Netbackup Master server ? Do you have such configuration at your site ?

Don't quite understand what you mean. However the Server column of the document indicate which OS is supported as BMR server (& HPUX is one of those marked)

Yup, my current BMR server is on HPUX. That's why I'm so certain.

well certainly, you can have the Netbackup Master server loaded with the BMR server

One question I would have, is whether BMR questions for 6.0 should go to the BMR forum or stay here now that BMR is part of NBU 6.0.... something to ponder...
