BMR cd srt creation issue

Hi to all,

i'm having problems creating the boot cd from one srt for my solaris, in bmr.

i dont have on my boot server one partition that can be erased, can i install the veritas volume manager to go around this issue?? when they ask for one partition with xxx,xxx blocks what should i type? can you give me one example? i tried and created a mount with lofi but when i give the /dev/rdsk/xpto path he says that this is not a block device, because he tries to mount it with the exact same name.

anyone can help me in this?

Hi Antonio

If your server is mirrored you could always detach one of the mirror's. Say Swap for example,
Use the detached partition to create the srt and once finished, re-attached the detached mirror.
