BMR discovery Failed

We are runnign NBU Master Server 7.1 & Media Server 

7.1 on Separate Machines.

We have Solaris Clients, and we want to go for BMR backup of clients.

Enable BMR info in policy and executed the Full backup, but received these error messages.

Have you configured BMR on master yet?

I think they have bmr master enabled.

This job details messeges are not sufficient to track the problem.

Please check BMR master server (bmrd/119) debug log for more details.

Yes, BMR is configured on Master and Boot Server can be seen on NBU Console under Bare Metal management under Boot Server.

which is solaris X86_64 bit and client is also the same.

BMR info is not happening on 30 machines.

I could see it failed while parsing file systems.

BMR master could not find any file system on client which is SWAP. Probably because SWAP file system is not enabled on client.

Can you please confirm this? Missing SWAP file system is currently considered as "critical mount point missing" and client bmr config import fails.

Try enabling SWAP fs on client.

Dear There is no such SWAP issue, machine is running fine, we have 30 machines in live environment with same issue.

machines are booting properly, and no issue to SWAP or any other OS.

yeah, I know your machines are running fine without SWAP.

BMR currently enforcing this check where if SWAP is missing consider cirtical file system is absent on client machine.

So one option is to enable SWAP fs on your clients (may be with little space). If this is not possible then please open a service request ticket with Symantec to get engieering binary on this problem.

upgrade to 7.5 issue will be resolved.you can see file system is zfs:) and there is no compatibility in 7.1 version.
