Backup Schedule suggesstion required

Environment

Netbackup Server = 7.1

Netbackup Client = Linux VM installed on a windows machine. The Netbackup Client software is installed on Linux VM.

I have some folders with plenty of files on Linux OS(which is actually a VM) which keeps updating every next minute and sometimes updates even every next second. How can i design my Backup Schedule in the Netbackup policy ? kindly advice.

Do i introduce synthetic backup in the Netbackup policy ? if yes then what are the advantages and disadvantages of Synthetic backup?

You could use Flash-Backup policy and then sent the snapshot option to use "VMware". I don't think you need a proxy server anylonger with version 7.1 of netbackup.
