Bpplinfo Virtual_machine_backup backup fails with 156

Hi folks,

Facing a strange issue, to minimise the manual efforts to change the policy attributes of Hyper-V policy, I used command bpplinfo Virtual_machine_backup=1/2 to enable/disable file level recovery and policy got updated. When backup starts it fails with snapshot error 156 and when I follow same thing to disable/enable file level recovery from GUI instead of using command to do the same my backup got success easily. Please advise.

Have you tried comparing the two versions of your policy?

Check the bpfis log on your backup host for more information about status 156.

Yeah compared the policies there are no differences. Verbose set for bpfis will check for more details.
