We have backups on LTO2 tapes that we created on SAN based LTO2 drives. Trying to restore with a SCSI attached LTO3 drive. Having a LOT of problems with media header failures or CRC's. We had NO problems with any of the various other LTO2's we imported on the old library before it was sent off because of end of lease. We just did not get everything migrated in time. So, I don't think the tapes are really bad.
Anyone have any ideas?
