Hi!
Our Windows Netbackup 7.1.0.3 Masterserver crashed and we had to reinstall it from scratch. i followed the guides on how to restor a master server.
Same Name, Same IP, same paths etc. and ive got the latest full dr-file
We only have a deduplication pool where all the backups is storered including the catalog.
If i try to run the Catalog recovery wizard I get:
"server.com"_1299603639
All media resources were located
When it runs i get this:
ERR - Failed to execute command /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpdm -restoretir -jobid 11 -cn 1 -b "servername"_1299690033 -c "servername" -priority 90000 on host "servername" (83)
I tried to run some commands with nbdevconfig (-creatests -storage_server) But im not really sure what im doing. ;)
Do i need to configure the storage server somehow?
Any help on this?
thanks!

Which type of storage are you using, 'PureDisk Storage Pool' or 'Media Server Deduplication Pool'?

Your Dr-file and dr-email contains the name of the storage server.
Use info in this file with steps in this TN to create storage server: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH72198

You have used MSDP configured on master server host.
I'm not sure it is possible to recover in such situation. At least, you have to recover your MSDP for first.
Please try the procedures described on Deduplication Guide page 144.
http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3657
After following steps listed below, restart NetBackup and try catalog recovery.
If recovery was failed, create disk pool with same name, and try again.
