sorry for the noob question - my experience with netbackup is pretty much just NDMP.
do standard backups include DAR-like functionality, in that restores of single files, or directories, happen very quickly?
i know that without DAR support on NDMP restores, single file or directory restores take ages, as the filer reads in the full tape. i'm wondering of this functionailty comes standard with normal/standard backups?
i can't seem to find mention of it in any docs, and am thinking this might just be default functionlity in normal restores?
