Data Domain permissions

We recently installed our DD appliance and wanted to add it to our 2008 media server via CIFS.  Last Friday when first enabled everything worked awesome. However, once we switched our policies over to actually use it in production it suddenly stopped working and now I can no longer access the share.

It would almost seem as though we are blocked because of some security, but nothing has changed on the DD from the time it was working the day prior.  The DD was added to the domain, but that was like that prior to getting it to work last week, so that too should have no impact or so it would seem.  Any thoughts or ideas on how to get this thing working again would be great.

Found solution.

Plugged in a second NIC that pulled a DHCP address and in turn confused the DD when the permissions specified the specific computer name.  When changed to * the connection worked.  Disabled the second NIC and was then able to specify the server name again and the server once again had access to the DD.
