Since quite sometime Differential Incremental Backup for exchange 2007 server is failing. It fails saying that a log file could not be read and end partially successful. The job backs up other storage group logs and does not for the one the log it reports and it is not for any one particular storage group. Also we have two exchange 2007 servers and it happens to both the exchange servers sometimes or any one, and sometimes completes successfully without failing. It is not restricted any one storage group and has happened even to public store, Note: this differential incremental backup job runs from mon to thurs and on friday we have scheduled full backup. Full backup has not failed till now for any reason. Also we have Enterprise Vault 2007 in our environment and journaling is enabled for one - one stores each in each exchange servers and also archive enabled users are in that stores only. And the backup job has failed even on these stores as well as other stores. So I strongly believe EV is not the problem here. But still let me know if this has anything to do here. Any help please, where to address this.
