Disabling Estimated Files/Kilobytes on Linux

OpsAnalyst
Level 4

When I bring up the details window on a job I see data for estimated files and estimated kilobytes.  I want to turn off that feature.  I know that on windows clients I can disable the client job tracker.  Can someone tell me how to turn it off on a Linux client?

You can't disable the estimates in the activity monitor.

The windows job tracker  and the estimates you see in the activity monitor are two different things. The windows job tracker has been discontinued in the newer version of Netbackup (I won't be missing it).

There is no job tracker for Linux.

This very old bug for 6.5 tell a little about how the percentage and estimated kilobytes works:
