Discovering medias used in a restore

Hi,

I´m looking for a command line to discover which medias a specific restore will need.

RMAN too.

(NBU 7.0 Linux)

Combine bpimagelist with -media.

Example:

bpimagelist -client Marianne-Win7 -d 02/25/2012 -e 03/01/2012 -media -U
Media ID   Last Written       Server
--------   ----------------   ----------
000156     02/27/2012 09:25   media01

bpimagelist will give you most details but there are easier ways ...

1. In the BAR GUI select the files to restore and then select Action - Preview Media (for tape only)

2. Search for the images in the catalog section of the Admin Console - the media used will be shown there (if duplicating to disk then copy 1 will be disk (usually primary copy) and copy 2 will be tape
