Disk Staging

I configured a disk that is attached to the master/media server as a disk staging device on a new storage unit.
The storage unit was then added to the policy. When the job kicks off I get a message in the error log "didn't find valid storage unit vnbustg3 in stunit group, or storage unit list'" and the job stays in que.
I have checked the settings over and over, however i cannot get the system to recognize this as a valid storage unit.
We are running NBU5.1 on anAIX 5.1 server.

Did you add the disk staging storage unit into the "Storage Units" with the absolute pathname?

You will also need to stop and restart the NetBackup daemons after the creation of the storage unit for it to be recognized. Once you do that it will work like a charm.
