The actual error is status 85 - media read error: read failed, media read error (85).
While trying to read backupid <client>_1277524807 on media-id U944L2, the following happened:
expected this frag 1148099 bytes, read this frag 0

Expected data is simply not on the tape. The tape is either damaged or was somehow wiped or overwritten.

Run a verify and/or media contents report on media id U944L2.

Thanks. This is full backup and the image is on the disk.  When i initate the duplication it is failing with this error. I have checked the location of the image and data is available. the first failure was during the weekend and I have inserted new tapes on monday but it failed with same error.

I removed the media U944L2 and run the duplication. It picked different tape and then failed with the same error."expected this frag 1148099 bytes, read this frag 0". Not sure why this is happening. It is only for this policy and all other duplications are successful.

TIR was corrupt. I expired it and now the duplications are successful.  Thanks.
