EMM interface initialization failed, status = 334

Hello!

I have master server v 7.0.1 (cluster, 2 nodes, win 2003 x64) and media server v7.0.1 (win 2003 x86)

After reboot today i see on application log this error: EMM interface initialization failed, status = 334

Backup not worked.

I try test:

on master server

1.

C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin>nbdb_ping
Database [NBDB] is alive and well on server [NB_NBUcl].

2.

c:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\admincmd>nbemmcmd -getemmserver
NBEMMCMD, Version:7.0.1
Failed to initialize EMM connection.  Verify that network access to the EMM serv
er is available and that the services nbemm and pbx_exchange are running on the
EMM server. (195)
Command did not complete successfully.

on media server

1.

c:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin>nbdb_ping

Have you checked if the services nbemm and pbx_exchange  are running?

Are you running on the same node as you were previously, or did it failover after your reboot?

in cluster administrator NetBackup Enterprise Media Manager and Symantec Private Branch Exchange running. In task manager i view process nbemm.exe and pbx_exchange.exe
