Hi Friends

Need ur help. can i add two EMM SEREVR IN ONE MASTER SERVER? if Yes, then How. if no then why its not possible. please help.

There can be only one emm server in a netbackup master server. the emm server has the database with all the configuration of the netbackup environment and this has to be in one database. You can run it in a cluster if you want to.

Why do you want to have 2 emm servers?

Thanks for replay.actually someone ask me question regarding that.i answare that only one emm server we attach with one or more  master server but we cant attach two emm server to a one master server.he ask why?after that i am unable to replay that answare.please help.

emm means enterprise media manager
you don't attach an emm server to a master server, but a master server to an emm server. This emm server is managing your media (eg tapes). A single tape can only be managed by a single manager.
