Environemnt:
NBU 6.0 MP4 Standard on a single Master Server which as Windows Server 2003 SP1 installed.
No media server
16 Client Servers with either Windows 2003 SP1 or Windows 2000 SP4.
HP MSL6030 Tape library with 2 Ultrium LTO3 drives.
We currently are using BLAT to handle our email notifications for backup jobs that get a completion code greater than zero and that works fine.
I was looking into getting the same type of notification for our duplication jobs. I found what I believe is the proper notification script, called restore_notifiy.cmd. I updated it to send me a message and I did start getting notifications each time a duplication job finished. However, all the messages indicate a successful job completion even if the job failed. I have not been able to find a way to get access to the completion code from Veritas so I can only send the message on failures like you can do with regular backu jobs.
Any body have this same problem and come up with a solution?
