Error code: 130

Hi all,

we are getting error code 130 on 2010 exchange DAG backup. Kindly advice.

Which NBU 7.5 patch level?

Please post all text in Details tab of failed job.

A 130 is usually a snap shot issue or an issue with Circluar logging :

From the exchange server(s) in the DAG please run :

C:\> vssadmin list providers
C:\> vssadmin list writers
 
All writers should be in stable and running status.  If not, there is an issue with VSS. 

A quick reboot will clear it up, however for diagnostics, Microsoft will need to be contacted.

For INC and DIFF Backups failing with a 130, confirm circular logging is disabled. http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH11310

HI Satpat,

Just wanted to follow up with you on this.  Were the writers are stable ? Are you still having the issue ?

If the writers were all clear and circular logging is not the issue, we would need to look at the bpfis log and the event viewer.
