Error with NBU 6.5/VCB and snapshots....

I am running into the following error after creating a policy to backup a VMWare server:

Policy: vm_test --client: testconvert
Snapshot could not be created with VMware method

I have Netbackup 6.5 installed.  The master server is also the virtual center server, I have a media server which is also the VCB proxy server.  Creating the policy shows no error until the very end when I get the above message.  In addition I am able to use VCB to create a snapshot so I suspect that it is not a VMware error.

Any ideas?

Just a quick update.  This error does not occur when I set the Virtual Machine Backup Parameter (in the snapshot client settings to) to 0.  (file).  However, if I set it to 1 or 2 for full vm or mapped full vm I get the error.  I am trying to get it working with mapped full vm.

I think I got a bit ahead of myself.  According to the documentation:

NetBackup for VMware supports two kinds of virtual machine backup: file-level
in this initial release of NetBackup 6.5, and full virtual machine (image-level) in
a NetBackup 6.5.x release.

It looks like what I am trying to do is not yet supported.

 I am having the same problem I am running Netbackup 6.5.3 and vcb 1.5 my vcbmounter works on my proxy server.

I have been unable to find out the problem.

Did you find a solution?
