Recently I tried to install the NetBackup Client 6.5 on one of the Windows 2003 server (with os hardening), I encountered the message on Application Eventlog, Event ID 1015 (Failed to connect to server. Error: 0x800401F0). Can anyone advice me how to rectify this issue.

Resolution:
Even if logged as an Administrator, it may be necessary to right-click in setup.exe and select the option to "Run as", specifying an administrator. Select "Allow" when the User Account Control window is displayed in the screen, then proceed with the NetBackup Update installation.
