Hello All,
The backup completed successfully over FT. (Exchange GRT, non-GRT and FS backups)
I have changed the logon type of all the Netbackup services (Client Service,Legacy Client Service, Legacy Network Service, prozy service and SAN Client Fibre transport service) to start using the Service Account.
This resolved the issue.
Thanks Marianne and ON THE ROCKS for all the help !!

Please tell us more about your FT configuration?
Especially about config of Exchange server as well as storage unit stu_adv_bthpat5p07...

We are using Netbackup Appliances 5520
In order to configure GRT, I had changed the logon type of the Netbackup Client and Legacy Network services to use a Domain service account.
Since then the GRT backup and non-GRT backups fail when using FT.

So, backups work when Services run as LocalSystem? Just not GRT?
Have you confirmed that the Domain account has full Local Admin rights on Exchange server?

Hello Marianne,
I have confirmed that the Domain Service Account has FULL LOCAL ADMIN rights on the exchange nodes.
All backups fail with allocation errors (Status10) when started over FT while using the Service Account as the logon type for the Netbackup Client Services and Legacy Network Services.

Please log a Support call with Symantec.

Hi Titus,
Please follow the link and check if you have the required permissions on the service account.
Only Full Local Admin Rights on the exchange node is not sufficient.
