Expiration date of the media not populated in Vault reports

Hi All,

i was running vault reports in NB 6.0 on SUN OS, 

Reports-->Vault Reports---- >Media going offsite, when i run the reports for my latest/any previous vault session i dont see anything on Expiration date column.

any idea whats going wrong why is my Vault reports not showing expration date ?

Hi Venkatesh,

Check if you are getting the expiration date in the vault report emails (picking list for robot) or in the session log directory (/usr/openv/netbackup/vault/sessions/vault_name/sid###/picklist_robot.rpt)

If you see expiration date in those reports but not from the GUI, then apply patches to your NetBackup (Java/Vault/Server/Client) and try again.

If you do not see expiration date in those reports either - then try running "nbemmcmd -listmedia -mediaid ABC123" command syntax, to verify if the expiration date is showing up there...

To me it more sounds like a GUI issue, try different GUI (Windows Remote Admin Console, not the Java GUI) and make sure you apply all the latest patches.

Also consider upgrade to 6.5.4 - upgrade from 6.0 to 6.5.4 is not that hard.
