Flashbackup-Windows Error 11

 Hi,

I'm trying to create a flashbackup-windows policy. The content selection is D:\

However I always get the same error whenever I run the above policy.

ERR - Invalid System name D:\

System call failure(11)

Wonder what can gone wrong

When adding a target to flash backup you need to add the backup selection like this

\\.\D:  this will get all of D

\\.\E: for all of E and so forth.

Flash uses the snapshot provider so you have to give it the snap backup selection.

I created two policies using the new selection. However one failed with invalid command parameter(20)

Your not trying to backup the OS Drive right? Flash wont back that up...

You might try just rerunning the job or checking for hung bpfis process's on the client from the first run.

 Hmm I didn't choose c:\ yet. Haha But it seems that I think found the problem although not sure what caused it. The problem policy is copied from existing and for some reasons it failed. 

I created a new policy using the same selection and it looks okay so far.
