How do you configure required_interface in Windows? I've used it Unix before, and I see lots of posts about having to set it up in the registry in Windows, but I haven't stumbled on the actual registry settings. If someone could pass along a reference and/or and example, I would appreciate it.

Harry

Easiest update for Windows clients is to use Host Properties in the GUI.
Universal Settings -> Use specified network interface.
The Client's Registry will be updated (HKLM -> Software -> Veritas -> NetBackup -> CurrentVersion -> Config)

Hi,
On the client's host properties in the GUI, go to universal settings, then set the "Use Specified Network Interface"

The GUI, who would have thougt. :) I guess you can see how seldom I am in there. I tried so many combinations in the support search, google, and searching the admin guides with no useful hits.
Thanks for the pointer.

Well you can use the GUI, and then just look for the new key added in the location provided by Marianne. Then you can use the registry from now on...
