Have you tried The ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES directive?
(if you don't want to backup all drives, use the exclude list option, also can be set on the client)
more info can be found on page 182 in the Windows admin guide.

Коллега,

Файлы системных логов Windows бэкапятся как часть Windows System State. Мне также приходилось успешно восстанавливать их.

I have an Open File option, why I can't backup this file?

В общем нет способа скопировать этот чудо-файл, пришлось писать скрипт для его ротации

If you can't grab that file the dumpel.exe, a resource kit utility, may help you if you can schedule the dump and then have Netbackup come in and grab the dump for archive.

Write a batch and put it in a scheduled task.  It sounds counterintuitive when you are paying all of this money for an enterprise class backup solution, but it is a common practice to dump out what you need and then have your backup software grab the files.
