Please refer to chapter 9 (Performing restores of Exchange Server, mailboxes, and public folders) in the Symantec NetBackup 7.6 for Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator's Guide (DOC6478)

Sure about the Exchange version?
Maybe 2010 or 2013?
The steps and video over here should still be applicable: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO41852
If 2013, please be aware of the following:
Fixed in 7.6.0.3: (ET 3524778) NetBackup for Microsoft Exchange restore of an Exchange 2013 database to a Recovery Database (RDB) fails if the restore is attempted from an image where the passive copy was backed up. If the active copy was backed up, the restore works properly.

If you are using Exchange 2010 SP1 & Later version then you can use inbuilt utility - New-MailboxExportRequest Utility. If in any case this utility doesn't work on your EDB file then you have to use an External Tool "Exchange Server Recovery Software". This software can restore all your corrupted, deleted and orphaned edb file. This Tool can also export EDB files in five file formats like: PST, MBOX, EML, MSG and PDF. You can visit: - http://www.outlookemails.net/recovery/edb/
