When I load a tape into my standalone tape drive what do I need to do to see the tape's label? I would have thought Device Monitor would have listed it but it does not.
Have a look at vmoprcmd (can be used to check status of drives inc. recorded media id) and vmphyinv (used for physical inventory of libraries or standalone drives & update volume d/b).
