How to setup Server Policy Exception

I am trying to add some new SQL clients to an exisiting SQL policy that I already have created. The issue I have is this policy is backing up "All Local Drives" which is not needed for these new clients. Is there a way to add these new clients and use this policy, but use a different backup selection criteria? Do I have to setup a new policy for this? Any guidance is apprieciated.

Your policy type must be MS-Windows-NT if your backup selection is ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES and not a pointer to a SQL Agent backup script.

The only way to select a different set of backup selections for a particular client is to use a separate policy for that one client, or issue a user-backup script on the client that explicitly specifies the files or folders you want backed up.
