Is it possible to backup up a 6.0 MP2 client using a 6.0 MP1 media server?

Hi,

Is it possible to backup up a 6.0 MP2 client using a 6.0 MP1 media server and using a 6.0 MP1 master server? I know it's not suggested that I do this but I'm just wondering if it is possible?

I think this *may* work, but also it may not work. Make sure Symantec does not support it. I recommend you to apply 6.0 MP2 ASAP because of security issue.

It's not supported so why even try, its a waste of time and may hose up your database.

I have tested it and it does 'seem' to work fine. But like everyone else said, it is not supported so I would not recommend it.
