Hello All,
Is ther any ready made scan or exception policy for Netbackup servers which I can assign to my servers OR do I have to create all manually?
Thanks

It seems your post was in reply to my post:
EMM "heartbeat" polling to media servers can be configured with "SCAN_HOST_STATUS_INTERVAL" .
See http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH70827
Please tell us more about your requirement and why you need a scan exeption policy?
Other than making media server offline when not available?

The requirements are comming from our Backup technician . And recommendation comes from Symantec .
Bellow are the references
Symantec recommend that the Antivirus policy should be changed for NetBackup clients, media and master servers to enable NetBackup to run optimally and to avoid conflicts. This is especially important for the NetBackup Media Storage servers connected directly to media server deduplication volumes (MSDP) as virus scanners can result in the backup images being corrupted or lost, and the server workload is very high to cope with the memory intensive deduplication process. The Symantec Recommendations follow

The thing is that we have deployed Netbackup,Media and master servers to accomplish all the related taks like backup of data and so we need to comply with Symantec recommendation but all they says is doing or add all the process manaully which I think is bit lengthy process. I was thinking if there is any ready made policy for Netbackup servers whch excludes process which Symantec recommends.
For example there are cetain policy in MS-Endpoint Protection that you can apply it to Domain controllers,DNS,DHCP and so on servers. If you Symantec has that ready made policy we can just assing to our Netbackup server group in SEPM 12.1.
I hope I explained it right
Thanks
