Hi
Can  anyone let me know how are LPARs are addeded in the netbackup console?
I have unix netbackup version 6.5.3.

You have Netbackup running on Unix and you want to configure LPAR clients / servers with it ?

So your Unix master server (NetBackup) is itself an LPAR ?

Anyhow, the client configuration for each LPAR is the same as on any client you install the NetBackup UNIX client software on the host OS of each LPAR, be that AIX or Linux.

let me explain the senario to u
i have one master\media server with a vmproxy\media server , a VCC server and 6 ESX sever.
I need to add few Lpars  in the master server for the backup
So when i am addding lpars server in the master server for the backups what all things do i need to take into consideration on client side as well as on the master server side inorder to have a successfull backup ?
