Hi Dear Community,

Today OpsCenter sent the alert to me  that 

Nodes : ak-iti-bck-01.infraadm.int.mcc

Available Media: 5

Alert Policy: Low available media

OpsCenter Server: AK-ITI-SRV-08

this alert related weekly backup policy .

in weekly pool there are 8 tape (in robot library) .one of them is active but others are full.this means l need 5 active tape ?

in OpsCenter alert configuration thershold value is 6.

Low available media = "An alert is generated when the number of available media becomes less than the predefined threshold value.".

Ref: OpsCenter Administrator's Guide

It is recommended to use SCRATCH (default pool) for unassigned media. This way NetBackup will use a tape from SCRATCH pool, whenever a new tape is required.
