MS Cluster backups error after failover

The backups on the MS Cluster work fine after a reboot of the servers until a failover happens on the cluster.  Once a failover happens, I get an error 41.  The master is using NBU 6.0 MP5 (HP-UX) and the client is NBU5.1 MP6 (WIN2003). I am backing up both physical machines (C & Shadow Copy Components) and the Virtual Node (Specific Drive Letters) in different policies.  Both policies fail with an error 41.  I can reboot the servers and the backups work fine until a failover occurs.  Any clues?

    Have you try to follow the 41 error troubleshooting guide?

    Check all your networks settings, try to run bpgetconfig -M <clientname> -x from the master to the client this will tell you that you have ping, nslookup, telnet to bpcd and the client configuration is the best way to start a 41 error troubleshoot.
