My Problem is my Backup failed every Time:

Please check if policy 1000_mssql_win_2 has Application Backup schedule and its start window is open ata that time. Post "bppllist 1000_mssql_win_2 -U" if possible.

Also tell us if this SQL Server is clustered.

Have you tried that?

If not, create dbclient folder under ...\netbackup\logs and retry the backup.

Check the log for errors.

One more thing: Check that NetBackup Client Service on SQL server is started with SQL Admin rights account.

IF i change the setting to Application Backup

Message:

No automatic backup schedules are defined for the policy(user backup and user archive schedules,if any, are excluded).

No SQL CLuster [Stand alone]
