Multiple restore jobs + message 'media xxxxxx required'

Have 5 restore jobs running. Each one have one tape tape in common(out of multiple tapes) that will be used

in the restore.

1 restore will mount it's 1st tape and after finishing will mount the next tape in line.

However, the remaining restore jobs show 'mounting' and message 'media xxxxxx required' in the activity log.

won't restore jobs share? (all tapes are in the robot)

NBU 6.5 Windows 2003 Master, 2 Windows 2003 Media Servers.

(huge size of data to restore up to 24 hours to restore full)

Also, is there a limit on the number of restore jobs that can run concurrently?

there is a limit of how many can read from a tape.

when the first one is done.

did you go to device montior and in the bottom window see your requests and do a "resubmit request" for any of them?
