NBCC –upgrade and NBCC –batch generates the following errors

 Attempted to run NBCC –upgrade and NBCC –batch, but it generated the following errors:

[root@ support]# ./NBCC -upgrade
ERROR: Can't create /tmp/p2xtmp-24148/Util.so
[root@ support]# ./NBCC -batch
ERROR: Can't create /tmp/p2xtmp-24176/Util.so
What would cause this error message?

You may need to login as root

still getting error you need to reboot server (few week back i came across same situation with windows & reboot helped me)

we would also like to know OS & patch with NBU version and patch.

Which NBU version, which OS, which version of NBCC?

If you ftp'ed NBCC binaries to the Unix server, did you remember to ftp in binary mode?
