Unfortunately no support yet for Linux for NetBackup BMR Direct :

But I would have thought that if you can achieve a supported BMR aware physical client backup then you should be able to P2V (well B2V) manually, i.e. a form of dissimilar BMR recovery - of course you would also have to carefully check version interop and compatibility matrices :
